Government Mail links people to government representatives and the latest
political news from around the world. Government Mail features an easy-to-use
interface and includes an embedded browser which makes exploring
government sites easy. The program features specialized sections for
the US Senate and House. Users can view representative home pages or
email Senate and House members from Government Mail's complete listings.
The program also includes support for group emails by allowing users
to select all representatives or representatives by party to email.
Users can store their contact information within Government Mail and add it
to individual messages, so that representatives can reply. Government Mail
also monitors the Vista X Software website for updates to its
representative listings, and will download updates, when available,
to make sure users always have the latest contacts. Government Mail was
also designed for users outside of the U.S. The program features
comprehensive listings of world parliaments and leaders from many
countries. These listings include email addresses for world leaders
so users can write to leaders of other countries to let their voices
be heard. Users can also view corresponding web sites within Government Mail's
embedded browser. In addition to contacting representatives, Government Mail
also allows user to receive the latest political news. Users can view
the latest House and Senate votes or visit popular new sources quickly
though Government Mail's bookmarks. Government Mail requires Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher and 16 MB
of RAM.
