    No, this is not possible

Q5. I am not to sure of what you mean in the house rules item no 2. When you say do not approach corporate members for job vacancies... I shall use other Internet links to help me find what I am looking for .....

    Two comments:

    1. We like to avoid that Corporate Members who are identified (e.g in Advertisements) are being bombarded with unsolicited mailings about jobs. This is very unpleasant especially if Companies do not have vacancies.

    2. By all means use any other reference for job searches. The more the better !

What is the revenue potential for the 3-DNET Master Franchise Cooperative?

    Your businesses' potential is based largely on the ability of the Cooperative to market 3-DNET's unique products and services in your market. We believe it is much more effective to have some experience before the General Manager arrives in Ottawa. Furthermore we like him to attend together with up to twenty (20) candidates from around the world. The sessions will cover every aspect of 3-DNET's business. The training will be conducted by key managers from within 3-DNET as well as external tutors in specific disciplines. A subsequent Ottawa training period will be held within six month after the first session. Furthermore we will schedule quarterly global Franchise meetings where all 3-DNET "Master" Franchisees will attend.

How much does it cost to become involved in a 3-DNET "Master" Franchise Cooperative?

    3-DNET has designed a full-service franchise program that includes a comprehensive support program, established marketing and advertising programs, and access to a wide variety of products, services, and ongoing support. Initial capital requirements for a Master Franchise Cooperative is expected to amount to USD 100,000 including all of the above components. This amount includes your franchise fee (one or more shares at USD 100.-), legal incorporation expenses, website registration and Internet Service Provider expenses. A Master Franchise Cooperative is being defined as an agreement where the Franchisees (by way of the General Manager) will "manage" the overall 3-DNET Representation in a particular area (country, province/ state). This Master Franchise Coopeartive will also include supervision of Franchised 3-DNET Centres/Stores (see info 3-DNET webpage 3-DNET Internet Center WELCOME TO A NEW SHOPPING EXPERIENCE ). These latter "subordinated" Franchises will be contracted by 3-DNET Head-Office with the Franchisees, running the 3-DNET Centre. The Master Franchise Cooperative will receive between 25-50% of each franchised store, both in terms of initial franchise fees and agreed share of annual profits. It is possible that the Partial Master Franchise and the 3-DNET Centre Franchisee embodies one and the same person. Another possibility is that the Master Franchise Cooperative will have in its exclusive territory one of more "independent" Centre Franchisee(s) subordinated to the Master Franchise.

    Initial capital requirements for 3-DNET Centre Franchises will range between US $ 50 000 and US $ 75 000.

    IMPORTANT: all quoted figures and terms are subject to change ! As 3-DNET grows both around the world as in particular countries the Franchises will become more expensive.

How much cash do I need to put down?

    Each share will sell for USD 100.- with the authorized number of issued shares to amount to a total of 1000 outstanding shares. All shareholders will become "automatically" a VIP member (with their VIP membership for the first year being waived). Shares cannot be publicly traded but only within 3-DNET global membership. There are ONLY # 490 shares for sale (or 49% of outstanding shares).

Can I sell my 3-DNET Franchise Cooperative shares if I choose?

    Yes you can. In the future, you may consider selling your share(s) for a profit by transferring your share to any other Global 3-DNET member (in good standing). You can charge any price you like for the sale of your share certificate.

Does the Master Franchise Cooperative pay any royalties?

    A small royalty is payable (which begins at ten percent and declines based on business volume and tenure in our system). Ofcourse, the Master Franchisees obtains between 25-50% in terms of initial franchise fees and agreed share of annual profits from each 3-DNET Centre "subordinated" Franchise. So it pays to help with finding "suitable" parties interested in operating a 3-DNET Centre in your area. In terms of dedication to your business, there is no better partnership than 3-DNET's.

Q2. How can I access 3-DNET Home Page

    Make 3-DNET come up immediately as soon as you access the World Wide Web. To do this, you'll need to make 3-DNET your startup home page, which is accessed as soon as you launch your browser or when you click on the home button in the toolbar.
    1. Pull down the Options menu and select General Preferences.
    2. Select the Appearance tab sheet.
    3. For the Browswer Starts with option select the Home Page Location radio button and enter http://www.3dnet.org/ in the location box.
    4. Select Save Options from the Options menu.

    The next time you start Netscape, you'll go directly to 3-DNET

Q3. How can I bookmark 3-DNET

    If you Bookmark 3-DNET, you can access 3-DNET much faster and more easily. To Bookmark 3-DNET in Netscape,
    1. Go to the home page (s) of 3-DNET
        a) http://www.3net.org/
        b) http://www.3dnet.org/
    2. Pull down the Bookmarks menu and select Add Bookmark.
        Later, when you want to go to 3-DNET again, pull down the Bookmarks menu and select 3-DNET from the list of bookmarks to jump directly to The 3-D Network Company

Q4. How should I proceed in order to view the 3-DNET sites more rapidly ? (from Brasil)

    As we are not sure what "speed" problems that you are having so we offer a couple of points that might help. First you should know that we can be reached at our main site at above or our alternate site at: www.3dnet.org. This site states that it has a high speed access line, but like all Internet connections, if the access at your end is slow, or the links in between are slow, it does not matter how fast your computer is at your end or the server at the other end, all connections will be slow. Remember for international connections, what the "local/remote" time difference is to ensure that you are not accessing a site near peak hours.

    You should have at least a 14.4 (better 28.8) modem. If it is internal then it should run fast (38400 for the 14.4 and 115200 for the 28.8), but if it is external, and your computer is more than a year old, you should check to see if you have a 16550 UART chip installed. This can be done by running MSD (Micosoft Diagnostics) from the DOS prompt and checking your COMM port settings. If the UART chip is an 8250, then you cannot get the high speed out of your modem.

    If the modem checks out, depending on how much RAM and Hard Drive space you have, you might want to adjust Netscape (assuming you are using it) to increase the RAM and Disk "cache" space allocated. Also remember that for enhanced hard disk access you should run your Defrag (or speed disk) program often.

    Finally, you might want to turn off the "Load Images" on download feature so that you will get the text first. With the images turned on, sometimes you can just press the Stop button to interrupt the download of the .HTML page and what you will usually see is that all the text has arrived and only a couple of images, that may not be needed, are not loaded.
