BUSINESS-EMPLOYEE EXCHANGE PROGRAM

BACKGROUND:

In a world where globalization is taking place at a rapid rate, it is paramount that business as well as individuals are well-prepared to accommodate the culture, language, custom and business practices in a specific country to gain a strategic edge over the competition. One must be able to respond with a "global" perspective. Companies and Individuals cannot afford to limit themselves to their "home" turf! Only those who actively seek and pursue new frontiers will survive in the new millenium.

While the above is increasingly being accepted, Business and Individuals often still pay "lip-service" simply because they lack initiative, have a short-term view, or have no knowledge of effective global network programs. Many, on the other hand DO want to explore the global marketplace and seek ways to "test foreign waters" beforehand.

In response to numerous requests from Industry and Individual members, 3-DNET has augmented its existing services with a short-term Exchange Program. This will focus on a "short term" employment exchange of executives, graduates/middle managers and student interns between companies and organizations doing business internationally. By doing so, The 3-DNETŪ EXCHANGE PROGRAM will help to promote and enhance corporate, cultural, and economic understanding of all parties involved.


THE 3-DNETŪ EXCHANGE PROGRAM:

3-DNETŪ is dedicated to provide direct work and personal experience to executives and other employees of (member) companies engaged in international trade as well as to "stand alone" individuals (VIP or CLUB members).

3-DNETŪ will act as facilitator with "on the spot" assistance from our local Representatives. Initial information of the (member) corporate company or organization and/or individual is placed into the 3-DNETŪ database. This includes information on products, services, industry, departments and/or types of positions the company is interested in sponsoring or hosting. Similarly, all pertinent information from the "stand-alone" Individual VIP member is entered in the database.

Companies who agree to sponsor employees or "stand-alone" individual VIP or CLUB member to work on short term assignment with other member companies/ organizations for two or three month programs (in special cases, longer periods can apply) shall pay the employee's salary (for exisiting employees) while participating in the exchange program. Sponsors shall also pay for travel expenses. In most cases no visa/work permits will be required due to the short duration of the visit. The Host company (member)shall pay the 3-DNETŪ fee, accommodation and any relevant out-of-pocket expenses.

The 3-DNETŪ fees are considered very moderate (USD6000 for Executives, USD4000 for Graduate/Middle Managers and USD1000 for Students). Those companies and individuals who wish to participate but are not yet members will automatically be enrolled for a FREE "CLUB" 3-DNETŪ Corporate membership.

HOST BENEFITS:

The member company hosting an exchange employee or a "stand-alone" Individual VIP or CLUB member can expect to derive benefits, such as:


  • The company or organization will receive only experienced employees or individuals with developed and usable skills. Since the 3-DNETŪ Exchange is NOT a "training program", the effective use of the skills will be immediately and will require minimal supervision.
  • The exchange employee will often bring new ideas, methods and new perspectives which will be helpful to the Host company. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to establish business relationships with the sponsoring company as a result of the EXCHANGE PROGRAM..

    SPONSOR BENEFITS:

    The member company which sponsors an employee or a "stand-alone" Individual VIP or CLUB member can expect to derive several important benefits, such as:

  • The 3-DNETŪ EXCHANGE PROGRAM provides the exchange employee with an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on work experience within a company or organization in a similar industry as its own. Upon return, these experiences such as local business and cultural practices/contacts will not "only" be useful to the Sponsor company in exploring future business opportunities in the global marketplace, but could also positively enhance its own working practices and methods.
  • The 3-DNETŪ EXCHANGE PROGRAM when promoted as a work and educational "sabbatical" for merited personnel shall no doubt lead to increased motivation and morale within the Sponsor organization.

    Participation in 3-DNETŪ EXCHANGE PROGRAM is subject to the following:

  • The exchange employee or "stand-alone" individual VIP or CLUB member will obey all laws of the host country and conduct him/herself with the utmost dignity and unquestionable attitude.
  • No corporate member shall attempt to elicit confidential information of the other participating member via an exchange employee regarding the business affairs, products and policies, or any other matters which can be considered confidential.
  • Corporate Hosts shall not attempt to recruit for employment, either directly or indirectly, any 3-DNETŪ executive or middle-management exchange employee for a period of two years after the exchange.
  • Any dispute between participating members and/or exchange employee/ "stand-alone" Individual VIP member shall be brought to the attention of 3-DNETŪ. If considered necessary by 3-DNETŪ, an arbitrator shall be appointed who will make a determination based on the facts submitted. Their decision will be final and binding upon the parties.
