As an accomplished professional you of course know that ANY true value of Internet based organizations is the "Human Touch". No computerized database, etc can EVER take the place of REAL persons who talk to each other. 3-DNET® is NOT faceless personal resume databank/base, like most of the ones you see on the net. Experience show that finding quality employment from Internet resources is no more than traditional media , such as newspaper adds, etc. For your interest this is less than 5% ! You must have already experienced this when adding your resume to these resume banks. The ONLY worthwhile source is a REAL link to the Hidden and Human Job Market. In fact, our experience over 7 years is that one wastes enormous time signing up on various faceless sites setup by pure unknowns with no commitment from these receivers to do anything but sell your data profile (alla the Jobsxxxx.com model) or just add you to a list (the dead pool) with very remote chances of matching you to a sponsoring recruiter/advertiser/ partner. Privacy of these site may be OK but only filters out the garbage schlock scammers but doesn't guarantee there is any gold in the site. The net result for the jobseeker is too much screen time and not enough face time. Computers dont hire people. Now, to the solution...,
Electronic matching techniques are still primitive because of the limitations of keyword matching. We believe you need at least 100 key word matches on each side to properly express and match the job spec.to the candidates qualifications. The technology does not easily allow you to do that at this stage with limitations down to 3 or 4 keywords and at best maybe 20 or so on most sites-- so we are back to human interaction, face-to-face interviews, recommendations and people---rather than electronic---matching techniques. Recruiters themselves are in many cases at fault unable to verbalize enough keywords critical to the matching process so there is little motivation for the jobsites to upgrade their software to handle more key word matching or hiearchies.
